Mozilla Firefox's Latest Upgrade Will Block Cryptocurrency Miners

The latest version of Mozilla Firefox will have an enhanced tracking protection feature that would allow more content blocking option for its users. The upcoming browser version 67 intends to block cryptocurrency miners by default, adding even more protection to the users.
The upgrade will have stricter blocking options for the browser, which will help to combat against finger-printers and crypto miners. These upcoming features are already underway, but it is expected to take some time. Slated to release during May 14, a public tester will be out sometime soon as stated in the release.
During 2018, Mozilla wanted to block crypto mining scripts from their browsers and initially planned to launch these blocking options for their Firefox 63 browser version. But unfortunately, these features were delayed.
