EOS Telegram Summary 1/13/18 - Post-Announcement Sandwich and Love

Today's big announcements from Korea have their own dedicated post here.

We are down to the last two days of the cover image contest, today's image provided by @migueldans - thank you!

EOS general chat passed 22k users today and kept roaring all the way to 22.5k by midnight. We hit 20k just three days ago and 18k seven days before that - it seems the interest in EOS is rapidly increasing, though some of the recent buildup may be due to the EOS Korea bonanza.

Since the announcements have already been covered we'll pick up where they left off, when Michael Yeates noticed an extra announcement from Everipedia:

Surprise visit from Brendan after his big night on stage:

Man on a mission:

Wonder-mod Sandwich copy+pasted an announcement summary multiple times to help deal with 5x the normal chat volume:

One user caught this image at the end of the announcement video and Dan came in later to clarify:

People are still surprised:

And then he was back:

Sukru Day wanted confirmation for the Telegram to EOS persuasion efforts but confirmation never came:

User Free Truth gave an overview on EOS transforming the ICO landscape:

Sandwich further emphasized the point with this article:

Some people were happy to see all the latest token registration questions:

Best Telegram summary:

Sandwich was all over the place today:

On whether Everipedia will require claiming of EOS tokens to receive IQ tokens:

And later on as general chat started to slow down towards normal, the community block producers released an excellent post describing their testnet accomplishments and how to get involved:

While general chat could hardly contain itself EOS Developers were hard at work, creating new directories for each other:

And answering each other's questions:

In EOSTalks developer Michael Yeates talked about his interpretation of Dan's EOS.IO Development Update from yesterday:

He goes on to describe his project, a potential eBay on EOS:

Finally, love was in the air of the community block producer testnet channel after their long week ended in success:

EOS Go is the launch community for EOS - future of the web 3.0 - as envisioned by block.one. Anyone can participate in this historic event by voting with tokens, attending/hosting meetups and launch parties, writing the EOS constitution, picking data centers for block producing, and much more.

If you're interested in being involved with the EOS genesis block, please start by finding your niche on the community forums and resteem or tweet EOS Go to help spread the word.
