Governor of Bank of England Approves of Opting a Digital Currency

Mark Carney, the Governor of the Bank of England, who previously argued that digital currencies can't be considered reliable in terms of neither a means of exchange nor a store of value has now suggested to replace the US Dollars with a digital currency similar to Libra. Libra is the Facebook's digital currency.

Carney argues that in any case, it would be a better decision to replace the US Dollar with a digital currency than allowing its reserve status to be replaced by another national currency.
