Teenage crypto phenom prophesies doom for Bitcoin
Erik Finman who became the teenage bitcoin millionaire during the crazy run to $20,000, warns bitcoin maximalists, believers in the world’s best-known cryptocurrency that the long-term outlook is bleak. “Bitcoin is dead, it’s too fragmented, there’s tons of infighting I just don’t think it will last,” Finman told MarketWatch. “It may have a bull market or two left in it, but long-term, its dead.” Said the teenager who at the age of 12 purchased bitcoin with a gift from his grandmother turning the $1,000 into more than $4 million.
This wasn't the first time Finman prophesied doom about cryptocurrencies. He told CNBC in January that he can say with “almost certainty” cryptocurrencies will come to a bad ending.
Like it or hate it, the guy is consistent and that generates deep thoughts about the subject across a number of crypto adaptors world over.
